Before scheduling, you will need to determine how your program will be structured. There are a couple of options for you to consider, based on your needs!

Manual Scheduling

Ideal if you have only a few locations to evaluate and already know which shopper or evaluator you want to assign.

You can read up more on manual scheduling options in a different knowledge base article!

AutoScheduling

Best suited for programs with many locations where shoppers apply for assignments, and a scheduler selects from among the applicants.

The AutoScheduling wizard can help you through the scheduling process.

AutoScheduling with Self-Assign

Recommended if you manage multiple locations and prefer an automated process where shoppers can select their own assignments, with no scheduler review required. With Self Assign, shops are claimed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

This type of scheduling is not recommended for more quality-sensitive surveys, where a higher degree of control over who gets which shop can have a huge impact on project success.

To create a session with Self-Assign, check the 'Make these self-Assign shops' checkbox during session creation!

AutoScheduling with Qualified Self-Assign

A good choice if you want to automate assignments but still control which shoppers are eligible for specific locations, without scheduler input.

In other words: shoppers who meet your preferred and standard requirements will be permitted to immediately self-assign shops. On the other hand, shoppers who do not meet preferred requirements, but do meet standard requirements, will only be permitted to apply for shops and wait for the assignment.

You can easily create a Qualified Self-Assign session through the profile settings.

External Collaboration

Suitable if you want to manage assignments but prefer evaluators to be assigned directly rather than requiring them to sign up as shoppers.

Collaboration with another partner

Consider this option if you lack shoppers in certain areas, have an insufficient number of shoppers, or prefer an external scheduler to handle the entire scheduling process.
