Form Versioning by Date allows you to assign "expiration dates" to questions, facilitating the modification of forms over time.
The display of versioned questions is determined by the shop's Due Date, not the current calendar date.
Once the Date Versioning has been enabled for the survey, you will be able to edit an existing question's date settings (or add a new question and give it date settings).
Head to the Question List and either add, or edit an existing question.
Depending on your need, enter the date the use of the question will start (and end, if needed).
Once your settings are in place, you can easily check which questions have been form versioned simply by looking at the Question list!
Additionally, the optional note you can add in the Form Versioning settings on the question will be displayed in the Survey Summary report.
Keep in mind that grids must have all questions versioned in and out on the same date!
Date versioned dates are inclusive.
A question versioned with the end date of 05/31 will be displayed on all shops with a Due Date up to 05/31, including that date.
A question versioned with a start date of 06/01 will be displayed on all shops with a Due Date of 06/01 and after.
That also means that if question A has an end date of 06/01, and a question B has a start date of 06/01, both questions will appear on shops with the Due Date of 06/01!
If your system has an option "Version by the Report Date" active, the versioning on all surveys will check the shop's Report Date rather than the Due Date!
